Johns Hopkins University, or JHU, hired Coretechs to create a multi-WordPress Site to be used by several different departments. Each site had its own access and functioned on its own unique theme and configuration. This project has continued to grow after the first initial project, and Coretechs created several customized features created for them.
The most recent customization was a main navigation menu drop down. It contains functionality and styling for a single or multi-column layout, advanced responsive tables with sorting features, and visual composer blocks for subpage linking and call out areas. Another original customization feature is the design and color designation of staff. The staff are laid out in a grid and the outline of the picture is a different color based on the school the employee is associated with. That feature can be seen here: JHU Employees Page.
Lastly, Coretechs created a rotating banner image area with customization in layout and functionality, a subpage banner with an expandable accordion editor layout, and selectable responsive subpage schematic layouts. All of these features and more work together to create visually appealing and easy-to-use websites for the JHU community.
